The Specialness of Kkeuthan Clinic's Dual Toning
Kkeuthan Clinic's Dual Toning employs a unique approach.
Simply combining Laser Toning and Genesis treatments does not mean everyone receives the same procedure.
Kkeuthan Clinic's Dual Toning is designed after a detailed analysis of each individual's skin condition.
This allows us to expect more precise and satisfying treatment results.
During treatment, the direction is not determined solely by the number of shots or equipment names.
We meticulously analyze the depth and distribution of pigmentation, individual skin reactions, and complex skin issues such as elasticity, redness, and pores.
Based on this analysis, we determine the treatment direction according to customized criteria, categorized into a total of five types.
① Pigmentation Type: Skin primarily exhibiting melasma, blemishes, and epidermal discoloration.
This is when melanin pigment appears concentrated in the epidermal layer.
In such cases, a concentrated approach focusing on Laser Toning may be necessary.
The treatment aims for an overall clean and clear skin tone.
② Combination Type: Skin exhibiting both melasma and redness.
This is when dermal pigmentation and vascular redness are observed together.
Rather than strong stimulation, a method of gradually inducing a reaction with low output over a wide area is recommended.
This may be particularly suitable for individuals with sensitive skin or those who have not experienced significant results from previous treatments.
③ Redness Type: Skin with prominent redness around the cheeks and nose.
It typically features finely dilated blood vessels, a sensation of heat, and sensitive redness.
In this case, the Genesis laser is applied multiple times with relatively high output.
This can help stabilize blood vessels and restore the skin barrier.
④ Fine Wrinkle Type: Thin, dry skin prone to fine wrinkles.
This often involves rough skin texture and reduced elasticity due to lack of moisture.
The Genesis laser is applied with wide, overlapping shots to deep areas.
This can stimulate collagen production in the dermal layer and help improve skin texture.
⑤ Pore Type: Skin concerned with acne scars and enlarged pores.
This applies when elasticity around the pores is diminished or scars from acne are present.
We aim for improvement by promoting the skin's remodeling process through deep thermal stimulation.

*What are the unique advantages of Kkeuthan Clinic's Dual Toning?
The Dual Toning treatment offered at Kkeuthan Clinic
is not merely a combined treatment using two types of lasers.
1. Depth and distribution of pigmentation
2. Individual skin type sensitivity and regenerative capacity
3. Additional skin concerns such as elasticity, redness, and pores
By meticulously considering these comprehensive factors,
we meticulously custom-design the appropriate laser wavelength, output, handpiece type, and even the number of shots for each patient.
This optimized treatment design for each individual
is precisely what makes Kkeuthan Clinic's Dual Toning special.

What is Melasma, Differentiated from Blemishes?
Melasma cannot be simply viewed as a phenomenon where melanin pigment is excessively produced and deposited in the skin.
In the deep dermal layer of the skin, pigment-forming cells called melanocytes become excessively activated.
Melanin pigment produced by these cells tends to repeatedly spread over a wide area.
This eventually reaches the dermis, taking the form of a complex pigmentary disorder that persists for a long time.
In particular, external factors such as UV exposure and hormonal changes stimulate melanocytes even further.
In this process, microscopic inflammatory reactions and vascular-related factors within the skin are known to be complexly involved.
Unlike common moles, melasma is characterized by ill-defined borders and pigment spreading over a wide area.
Although the number of melanocytes often remains at normal levels in tissue examination,
the size of these cells and the dendrites (protruding structures) responsible for melanin transfer are significantly increased.
Consequently, they play a role in more actively and extensively transferring melanin pigment to surrounding skin cells.
In some patients, microcapillary dilation or redness may appear concurrently in the melasma-affected area.
In such cases, it is sometimes separately classified and described as vascular melasma.
Melasma is less a specific disease and more a result of the skin reacting sensitively to various stimuli,
and appearing due to various external stimuli when the skin structure is unstable.
Therefore, beyond simple pigment removal, an approach that improves the fundamental causes of melasma and skin structural problems is important.
Dual toning can be considered for other pigmentary disorders, but especially for melasma, the dual toning method is often more necessary than general laser toning.

Q&A
고객님들이 가장 많이 물어보시는 내용을 모았습니다.
What is the recommended treatment interval?
Treatments are typically performed at 1-2 week intervals, and we generally recommend at least 10 sessions. This can be adjusted based on individual skin condition and goals, so it's best to consult with a specialist.
Will there be any discomfort or pain during the procedure?
You may occasionally feel a tingling sensation during the procedure, but the pain is generally not severe, so most patients can comfortably undergo the treatment without anesthetic cream.
