*What is High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) Lifting?

HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) lifting, which utilizes high-intensity focused ultrasound energy, is a non-surgical procedure. It precisely delivers energy to specific depths of the skin, helping to stimulate collagen production and improve skin elasticity.

Similar to how a magnifying glass focuses light, ultrasound energy is concentrated at specific depths within the skin to create tiny thermal coagulation points. During this process, skin tissue is momentarily exposed to high temperatures.

These thermal coagulation points, reaching approximately 60-70 degrees Celsius, are designed to promote collagen denaturation and regeneration in the targeted area without causing unnecessary damage to surrounding tissues.

Notably, despite being a non-invasive procedure, HIFU can deliver energy to the deep SMAS layer (superficial musculoaponeurotic system) within the skin. This SMAS layer is the same anatomical structure targeted for lifting during surgical facelifts.

When energy is delivered to the SMAS layer, it induces an immediate tissue contraction response along with the rearrangement of collagen fibers. This helps to achieve long-term lifting effects.

Second Difference: Ultherapy Mode (Dot Output) is applied together with Shurink Universe to enhance the effects.

Shurink Universe primarily delivers energy in a linear fashion, which results in a different heat distribution compared to Ultherapy, which delivers energy in a dot-like form.

However, Shurink also has a dot output method similar to Ultherapy, which allows for concentrated lifting in the desired areas.

Some may avoid dot output due to time consumption. However, here, we apply Ultherapy mode to the areas that require treatment, attempting a more delicate approach.
